When Ronnie's privileged and chaotic friend Maddie dumps the artifact in her lap, Ronnie’s normal life goes up in flames. Suddenly, Ronnie and her squad are fugitives on a high stakes cross country road trip, desperately trying to keep the artifact and its inevitable effects out of the wrong hands.

Between dodging bullets, drones, armored vehicles, navigating bitter betrayals, and dealing with a ridiculously unreliable getaway car, Ronnie has to figure out the artifact's true purpose before the world as they know it ends.
